Clean tidy Costa Good prices Drinks always boiling hot. Cakes look and taste fabulous
The staff are pleasant, clean, nice little seating area. Food and drink is what it is, you know what you’re getting at Costa. It can get pretty busy in here being a hospital and they seem understaffed so a little patience helps when ordering.
So I came on here to write a review about a member of staff today that had to deal with a rude individual who was swearing at them. This member of staff was called Chloe and she dealt with this person in a professional manner despite the abuse and attitude he was dishing out to her, she deserves some serious plaudits for it. I'm shocked at how many Karen's are on here writing reviews about this costa, it's truly pathetic. These people are working flat out to serve you and they deserve some empathy and respect.
After a few days stay with my daughter, costa was what kept us going .. The staff were always polite even during exceptionally busy times.
Staff were hard working, just enjoyed a coffee and toasted teacake. Served by a friendly waitress, service as it should be!
This Costa is located on the ground floor of the Grange hospital, next to the main entrance. As it's a hospital Costa, it can get very busy and is clearly popular with staff, patients and visitors. I visited here a few times while visiting a relative who was in hospital and there was always a queue of some size, even on weekends and in the late afternoon/early evening. As you'd expect, it gets much busier first thing in the morning and around midday/early afternoon. I've only ever bought takeaway drinks and food from here so can't really comment on the seating/tables but they looked clean and tidy from the queue. Everything seems a little more expensive than a normal Costa but the taste and quality matches a normal Costa. The staff work very hard here and have always been very helpful, although they have occasionally got an order wrong but have been happy to refund/make it again. Your drink will be served in a takeaway cup, regardless of where you're going to drink it (which seems a bit of a waste and isn't great for the environment).
